— The Author Behind ColoriEducation
Born in Québec,
MaryJun grew up at a time when learning English only began in high school. It was as an adult after traveling across Canada, living for several years in British Columbia, and returning to her studies—that she fully realized the importance of mastering both of her country’s official languages: French and English.
Two languages that open doors to the world, make it possible to travel, work, communicate… and above all, feel autonomous and free in a bilingual country.
A Deep Belief: The Earlier Children Learn, the Easier It Becomes
This realization sparked a strong conviction in her: the earlier children are exposed to a second language, the more natural, fun, and beneficial the learning becomes.
Giving little ones tools to discover French and English is offering them a precious gift for their future.
Books Designed for All Children: Right‑Handed and Left‑Handed
As a left‑handed person herself, MaryJun understands the challenges left‑handed children face.
That’s why every collection is available in both right‑handed and left‑handed versions — a rare but essential detail to ensure comfort, fluidity, and success for every child.
Where Art and Language Meet
An artist at heart, passionate about drawing, colors, and education, she created ColoriEducation to bring together : art and languages.
She believes that a simple coloring moment can become a doorway to two cultures, two ways of seeing the world… and a universe of possibilities.
Her wish: that every child, across Canada and beyond, can experience the joy of understanding and speaking French and English — all while having fun.
